I can't believe it's the end of March and I'm still not done with blogging about my Japan trip. >_>;; But moving forward...
▲ This post is a continuation of my last entry on 1/19. I have been a huge fan of Uta no Prince-sama (うたの☆プリンスさまっ♪) ever since its first season of anime was released in 2011. It is a very popular otome franchise in Japan with 3 seasons of anime and a 4th season coming out this Fall. Animate ran its first utapri cafe in 2014 but due to its popularity, the cafe was revived in 2015 and then 2016 for its 'Revolutions' arc. You could imagine my excitement when I found out this cafe was running at the time I was in Japan. Reservations by lottery is required to attend so I scrambled to sign up and thankfully landed myself a spot while I was over there.

I took the elevator to the 7th floor and was greeted by its welcoming entrance. A staff member at the register to my left then asked me to show her some form of identification. I handed her my passport and nervously waited as she checked off my name on the reservation list and I was in! ▼

| You get a free coaster with every drink ordered and a plastic bookmark with the food you order. These are usually randomized. |

| The bottom of this ad shows some limited items you can get only at this cafe. Limited items are a common tradition at most, if not all themed cafes and are usually presented at random - think gachapon or blind boxes. I couldn't help but splurge on a few items myself. xD |
The food was pretty good for a themed cafe. I really loved my drink though, it was very tasty. If I had enough space in my stomach, I would've ordered more! Many themed cafes I've been to served mediocre food but most of us aren't there for food. The special thing about going to themed cafes is the happiness it gives from being surrounded by what you love. Whether it be an animal cafe or an anime-themed cafe, there's a sense of belonging and excitement from just being there. If you ever feel intrigued by themed cafe, go! You will not regret it. c:
